I stayed at the Gibson Hotel.
The hotel is named after the guitar. It’s a contemporary, rock n’ roll-themed boutique hotel, near the port on the north side of the river. The Luas trolley stops right out front. Very convenient, clean, cool decor, attentive staff…in a transitional neighborhood. That end of town is a little rough. But, then again, it’s also adjacent to the city’s rock n’ roll venue, the 3Arena. (3 is the corporate name of a cell service provider.)
